Shia Calenadar support

A free, independent Shia calendar by Abdulbari abdlbari.

Calendar coverage

Version 1.0 covers 1448 AH, 17 June 2026–5 June 2027. It uses the official timetable on sistani.org as its only religious source. The app is independent and not affiliated with Sistani's office. Later years require a verified data update.

Set a reminder for a whole calendar

Open Settings → Reminders. Choose Celebration, Commemoration or Moon in Scorpio. Enable reminders and choose the timing. Changes are saved automatically; the next scheduled reminder is shown. Celebration and Commemoration use your phone's local reminder time. Scorpio reminders count back from each exact period start. You can also enable a notification when the period ends.

Missing notifications

Allow notifications in device Settings, check Focus and notification delivery settings, and reopen the app. Past reminder times are skipped. iOS queues up to 64 pending notifications; the nearest reminders are refreshed when you open the app. Hiding a calendar does not cancel its reminders.

Dates differ from another calendar

The app follows the source's preliminary Najaf calendar, not the device's calculated Hijri calendar. Religious month starts can differ by region. Alternative narrations remain labeled in event details. Scorpio times are interpreted as Najaf UTC+03:00; this timezone is inferred from the source's context.

Report a problem

Include the app version, iOS version and a description of what happened. Screenshots are helpful; do not include private information you do not want to share.
